Bushfire Relief Support

“Making Psychology Accessible to Everyone”

It is now time that we as a community begin to rebuild from the impact of the Gosper’s Mountain fires in the Hawkesbury, one that directly impacted our team at Creating Change.

We want to ensure those directly affected find their resilience and strength to rebuild; those who combatted the flames manage their post incident experiences; and those impacted through exposure in media are resettling into daily life.

The Government has introduced The Bushfire Recovery Access Initiative – a support program for those individuals and families impacted.

The program offers therapy support to those directly affected by the bushfires, enabling you to take advantage of 10 sessions that are Medicare rebatable. This offer is available throughout 2020 and 2021.

Creating Change is also offering additional support. We are proud to offer to those directly affected a no-gap service for these 10 sessions, so you can get the support you really need.

We have appointments available right now – don’t wait to call! Appointments are within business hours between 9am-4.30pm, Monday-Friday.

Research shows the earlier you address traumatic responses, the better the outcomes. For your convenience we are open Saturdays, and until 9pm weeknights. Our male and female therapists are available to support you and your family, so please reach out and contact us02 8883 3185.
