Senior Clinical Psychologist
Greg Pankhurst has worked as a psychologist since 1995 in a diverse range of settings. His work roles have included crisis counselling, post trauma interventions with veterans and victims of crime, workplace consulting, community sector work and couple therapy, as well as privately practicing as a psychologist for the past 10 years. Greg is also involved in teaching crisis intervention to therapists in training, emergency services workers and ministers.
Greg has assisted individuals, couples and adolescents with numerous issues including panic and anxiety, depression, traumatic stress, workplace issues as well as family, parenting and relationship difficulties.
Greg is particularly interested in mens issues, the effects of depression on relationships, resolving past traumas, and using mindfulness to overcome anxiety.
Greg holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Macquarie University as well as a Master of Arts degree from the University of Sydney, both majoring in Psychology. Greg also holds a Diploma in Individual, Couple and Family Therapy from the Uniting Care Institute of Family Practice and now teaches at the Institute. Most recently Greg qualified as a Clinical Psychologist after completing postgraduate study at Deakin and James Cook Universities.
