Bianca has worked at a number of university clinics, including the Emotional Health Clinic at Macquarie University which is renowned for its innovative, research-based treatments for anxiety disorders in children, adolescents, and adults. Bianca also gained valuable experience developing her skills through Headspace where she provided short-term, goal-oriented treatment to youth and young adults (ages 12 to 25), and through other psychology practice settings where she worked with children, adolescents, and their families.

Consequently, Bianca brings vast experience providing effective psychological treatment for a broad range of presentations, including social anxiety, specific phobias, childhood/adult depression, self-harm/suicidality, behavioural difficulties, ADHD, learning disorders, performance and exam anxiety including HSC stress, as well as challenges experienced in relationships and families. She has also worked with adults experiencing psychosis and Schizophrenia, and as a Crisis Telephone Counsellor. Bianca offers a warm and compassionate space where clients are supported as they move towards their values, develop as an individual and facilitate interpersonal change.

Bianca’s particular clinical interests were reflected in her research thesis, which focused on the impact of online video gaming on social anxiety and social support levels among adult users.

Qualifications

Bianca has completed a Doctorate in Psychology (Clinical) from the University of Wollongong. Bianca also holds a Bachelor of Psychology (Hons) degree from Macquarie University.

Professional Registrations and Memberships

Registration to provide psychology services with Medicare.
